The Knobs, which began performing around Wilmington in 1993, have delivered a stream of lush ’60s pop over the years, heavily influenced by the likes of The Kinks and The Beach Boys. And if you listen closely, you’ll hear plenty of Delaware references weaved into their pop gems, whether it’s mentions of the Blue Hen fight song, The Grand, Edgemoor Gardens, Wilmington’s King Street, or the Brandywine River.
A masterful display of tasteful musicianship and anguished honesty. A rare, moving record. -Bruce Brodeen: Not Lame Music
